World Champion Bull Riders Return to the South Point Arena and Equestrian Center for the Tuff Hedeman Bull Riding Tour

Top bull riders Sage Kimzey, JW Harris, Mike Lee and Tyler Bingham will compete for the $30,000 purse.

LAS VEGAS – The lineup for the Tuff Hedeman Bull Riding Tour (THBRT) reveals No. 1 bull rider in the world and seven-time World Champion, Sage Steele Kimzey, is headed to Las Vegas to compete at the South Point Arena and Equestrian Center during the third stop of the THBRT series on Saturday, March 3.

The invitational roster also includes four-time Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) World Champion JW Harris, Professional Bull Riding (PBR) World Champion Mike Lee and Indian World Champion Cody Jesus. Joining Hedeman will also be National Finals Rodeo (NFR) contestants Joe Frost, Cody Rostockyj, Boudreaux Campbell and Aaron Pass. Recent THBRT El Paso Champion Tyler Bingham will also be competing. In addition, returning to Las Vegas as one of the defending champions is Eli Vastbinder, who won the 2016 bull riding event title at the South Point Arena.

Tuff Hedeman, who presides over the tour confirmed today that Kimzey, entered the three-round tournament style event on Saturday, March 3 where the $30,000 purse is up for grabs.

“Anytime you have $30,000 available to riders, you will draw the elite athletes of the sport,” said Hedeman. “Sage continues to break bull riding records, and the last time he was in Las Vegas, he won his fourth consecutive PRCA world title in his fourth attempt – the first bull rider to ever do that.”

Kimzey became the only bull rider in the PRCA history to break the $400,000 mark in a single season and earned $192,134 alone at the 2017 National Finals Rodeo, making him a PRCA-record for most money won in bull riding in a year with a grand total of $436,479, smashing his own record of $327,178 in 2015.

In addition to a star-studded competitor lineup, THBRT has recruited some of the industry’s leading entertainment and personnel, including former NFR Barrel man J.J. Harrison, who will roam the crowd giving away merchandise and providing his own style of comic relief.

Hedeman returns to the South Point Arena and Equestrian Center in Las Vegas with his signature style two-hour action-packed invitation only bull riding, which keep fans and the World Champion athletes on the edge of their seats as the four-time World Champion and pro rodeo Hall of Famer promises what he knows the fans want to see – great bull rides and high scores.

On Friday, March 2, Tuff Hedeman and the bull riders will be meeting with fans at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway at 3 pm at the South Point booth and on Saturday at the Boot Barn from 12 to 2 p.m.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the competition will get underway at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at www.tuffhedemanbullriding.com and at the South Point box office and southpointhotelandcasino.com.
